Wild Ride - Photo #121

Lady A has had one crazy and wonderful ride throughout 2011. From sweeping the GRAMMY awards to traveling the world, to headlining tours and beginning lifelong partnerships, it's safe to say that Charles, Hillary and Dave dominated their bucket list last year. Yet they still remain the kind, humble, and southern souls they always have been. And this week for their weekly webisode, where today's photo was captured from, they wanted to take moment to reflect of this life changing and incredible year, and thank all of their fans for holding on and enjoying the wild ride with them from the start. 2012 can only bring more! Picture Perfect Bride - Photo #120

Hillary could not have looked more beautiful on her wedding day this past weekend. Her flawless traditional bride with a contemporary edge look came together with the help of Vera Wang, the queen of wedding gown designs. Today's photo is of the sketch put together in the beginning phases of Hillary's gown coming together. The dress, in detail, was:

Sweet Josephine - Photo #119

Hillary is not only a beautiful talented musician, she is also one of the most honest and giving individuals around. And with that, Hillary has given her time and efforts to help give back and restore the children of Haiti by working hand and hand with a local Tennessee family to open an orphanage. Today's photo comes from one of Hillary's recent trips to Haiti where she spent time with this beautiful little girl Josephine. Piano Man - Photo #117

Today's photo came in via Twitter taken by a fan during the fall leg of Lady A's Own The Night Tour. It captures a wonderful moment of Dave taking on his piano solo. And this piano has been out on the road with Dave and the band since the beginning. It's hand painted just for Lady A and gives the warm, artistic and comfortable feeling during the show no matter what venue. And Dave is right at home playing the keys at every show.

Friends in High Places - Photo #116

Lady A's album, Own The Night, came in at #10 on the Billboard charts for all of 2011 with over one million albums sold. Just a few spots above them is Jason Aldean's My Kind of Party at #5. Jason has been a long time friend of the band, as well as a fellow Georgia native with the boys. They have toured and played together, having nothing short of an incredible time. As you can see by today's photo, taken of Hillary and Jason, these two are great friends. Not to mention Platinum album selling country stars too!

Lyrically Calm - Photo #115

With Lady A's latest single, "Dancing Away With My Heart" making it's way out and into the radio airwaves, they wanted to try a new creative approach to sharing the song. Keep Calm and Carry On has been a positive movement set out simply by the display of the slogan. Just a friendly reminder to keep calm and carry on throughout the daily routines of life. So Lady A decided to recreate the design concept to include their favorite lyric from "Dancin' Away With My Heart." This image is for fans to share, download, and display to wherever they feel needs some Lady A inspiration. Fairly Wonderful - Photo #114

Lady A was featured on the cover, and centerfold story, of CMA Closeup Magazine. The entire feature is about the importance of performing at local and state fairs throughout the summer. To Lady A, it's something they always love and enjoy. It happens to be a nice change from the big arenas too. Take On The World - Photo #112

The new year is about to be a big one for Lady A. They will begin their first majoring headlining tour on Jan. 27th along with special guests Darius Rucker and Thompson Square. The Own The Night 2012 World Tour will begin and Tulsa, OK and take Lady A all over the nation until June. Today's photo was taken during the fall portion of the Own The Night Tour and it's easy to see that this is what the band has been greatly looking forward to. This Time Last Year - Photo #110

2011 has been quite the year for Lady A. They have accomplished so much within the last year and have officially made a name for themselves. Dave put it best when he said that this is now where "It all is setting in." They finally get to enjoy their accomplishments and do so many things they've always wanted. The biggest thing being their first headlining tour. The Own The Night Tour has been just as big of a success and a dream come true for the band. Today's photo was taken around this time last year in the midst of the Need You Now tour, and all that has happened between then and now is incredible. Lady A is wishing all of their fans around the world a very happy and safe New Year and can't wait for all that 2012 has in store!

With 2011 coming to an end in less than 48 hours, iTunes put together a list of their favorite albums from this year and Lady A's third and successful album, Own The Night, has made the list! Today's photo is from the promo shoot for the album and the one that is currently used on their iTunes page. Friends In The Industry - Photo #108

The world of country music is a small and loving place. Many artists are great friends, and have been even before the made it big. The same goes for Lady A. They have had and made some incredible friends throughout their journey to gaining the success they have. Today's photo is a bit of a trip down memory lane, but it's clear that friends with similar interests always have a great time with one another. Hillary stopped to snap a quick photo with friends Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars during a fun time together. Not only do they always have a good time, but they can gain inspiration from one another too!

The always wonderful Hillary Scott has been honored by Forbes as one of their 30 Under 30 successful individuals in the music industry. Hillary's efforts and involvement in Lady A winning five Grammy awards, along with her incredible songwriting abilities got her a coveted spot on the list. See all the others who made the list here!

Robe Life Crew - Photo #106

Charles and his brother Josh Kelley brought the idea of "Robe Life" to the Own The Night Tour this fall. All the guys in the band and on the crew decided to wear big plaid robes on the bus or during their down time between shows. At the end of the tour Josh Kelley took and posted today's photo. All the guys on the Kelley and Lady A crew busted out their robes for the end of year celebration. Talk about some robe warriors!

Sarah's Tacky Holiday Sweater - Photo #103

Congratulations to Sarah Pietruszewski on being the winner of Lady A's Tacky Sweater Twitter contest! This last month of the Own The Night Tour became quite the tacky holiday party with fans wearing their best holiday sweaters. After putting together all the photos that fans sent in via Twitter into an album on Lady A's website, Sarah's photo was randomly selected as the winner to be featured as today's blog post. Sarah and her friend attended Lady A's show in La Crosse, WI on December 8th and really owned the night with their holiday spirit. Lady A was so excited to see that their fans brought so much Christmas joy to the ending of their fall tour and is wishing all of you a very Merry Christmas! 

Friends On The Road - Photo #102

Songwriting for Lady A is always more fun when it's a collaborative effort and their song Friday Night was written by a good friend Eric Paslay. He came out on the road with the band at the end of the tour to hang out and have a great time. It always makes a show that much better for Lady A when their friends can join them out on the road. The more the merrier!

With the holidays coming up right around the corner, Charles, Dave and the rest of the boys in the band wanted to spread some Christmas cheer before the Own The Night Tour ended last weekend. Today's photo was taken on the band bus on the last night of the tour while the boys were indulging in some Christmas story time. Yesterday's webisode featured the entire story. The 100th Blog Post - Photo #100

Time flies when you're having fun! Today marks the 100th blog post along Lady A 365 journey. This all started on the release day of their album Own The Night, and to think that 100 days have passed between now and then is pretty incredible. And throughout those 100 days Lady A has had some beautiful moments, lots of fun, and amazing memories. Their first headlining tour has been the majority of those 100 days and they wouldn't want it any other way. Today's 100th photo is a moment captured in Colorado Springs, CO during their show. Not only is it a perfect shot of Charles, Hillary and Dave, but it's a great view to see what Lady A sees from their perspective. Plus, Colorado Springs was a great stop along the Own The Night Tour because the band got to do a surprise meet & greet for the military and their families stationed at Fort Carson. There is no telling what the next 100 days will bring for Lady A, but it's guaranteed to be full of even more captured, perfect moments.

Congratulations Dave and Kelli - Photo #99

It's official, Dave Haywood is engaged! On Monday night in Nashville, Dave proposed to his wonderful girlfriend Kelli in a winter wonderland. Dave could not have been more excited to create such a special moment for the love of his life. And Kelli, she couldn't have been more swept away. Dave and Kelli are over the moon together and ready to celebrate their first Christmas as an engaged couple. This is just the beginning of their life long love story!

Ping Pong Champ - Photo #98

The official ping pong champion goes to... Hobbs! It was a tough competition and the score was close, but the little man prevailed. Next year will bring about a rematch and maybe a new champion will reign. But until then, Hobbs holds the trophy for table tennis and being the cutest member of Lady A.

Tonight in Morgantown, WV, Lady A closed out one incredible show to end their Own The Night Tour for 2011. Everyone on team Lady A couldn't be more proud and excited for how their first headlining tour came together this fall. Their hard work paid off, and their dreams came true. Lady A couldn't have asked for anything more. Every show was perfect, every song was amazing, and all the fans were nothing short of incredible. There aren't enough words for Lady A to thank every single person involved in this tour. As much as they are looking forward to having the holidays off, Charles, Hillary and Dave can not wait to kick off their Own The Night 2012 World Tour in January and can't wait to see all of you!

Prankster - Photo #96

With tomorrow being the last show of the Own The Night Tour for this year, the jokes and the pranks for the end of the tour have begun! Tonight in Roanoke, VA Josh Kelley came out on stage during Lady A's medley with Eden's Edge wearing a whoopee cushion costume. The band had absolutely no idea that this was going to happen and were in utter and complete shock. There is bound to be a rebuttal from Lady A to get back at Josh. Feeling The Facebook Love - Photo #95

Lady A reached over 6 million Facebook 'Likes' today and they couldn't be more excited. This is a great accomplishment for them. Interacting with their fans and sharing all the excitement of their first headlining tour with those around the world means so much to the band. Seeing the support and love from their fans in this way has been an early Christmas for Lady A, and they wanted to thank each and every one of their fans. All the morning show fun for Lady A came to end today when they wrapped on the set of LIVE! With Kelly. After performing their new hit "Dancin' Away With My Heart," The band and the crew jumped on the bus to head to Amherst, MA to start the last weekend of shows for their Own The Night Tour. They snapped this quick photo as they crossed the George Washington Bridge to leave NYC. Lady A is very excited to bring some holiday spirit to the last leg of the fall tour this weekend!

Early Morning Wake Up Call - Photo #93

Lady A and the whole crew rose way before the sun this morning. At 2:15am to be exact! They are in NYC for a few days stopping by to see their morning news show friends before heading out to the last weekend of the Own The Night Tour for the fall. Today they stopped by Good Morning America to chat with Robin Roberts and the rest of the cast before performing their hit song "We Owned The Night." Although the wake up calls are early, its always exciting to do live TV. And tomorrow they will stop by and say hello to LIVE! With Kelly to perform their new single "Dancin' Away With My Heart". As Lady A embarks on the release of their newest single, today's photo is a flash back from their Need You Now video shoot. This moment was captured during filming the always stunning Hillary's scene. Need You Now was a major hit for Lady A and provided them with the momentum to generate the continued success of their third album Own The Night. Dancin' Away with a Third Single - Photo #91

Lady A officially released their song "Dancin' Away with My Heart" as their third single off the album "Own The Night". Today's photo is the official photo for the single's release. The band couldn't more excited about this song being the next single for them. It was a collaborative effort in writing the song and it has a significant meaning for Charles, Hillary and Dave. Friendly Competition - Photo #90

Lady A and the whole crew have gotten into some serious competitive ping pong while being on the road this weekend. Josh Kelley and Eden's Edge, along with their whole crews, are also involved and it has become a big deal on the Own The Night Tour. From today's photo it's clear that some serious strategic planning went into the setup and it has all now become a full on tournament. The question is who will come out as the champions?

As if Hillary's mini golden doodle Hobbs couldn't get any cuter, she tweets today's blog photo. Hobbs has taken to life on the road quite easily and has no complaints hanging around the bus or backstage on a daily basis. Hillary sent this photo to Facebook and Twitter yesterday saying:

Bulldog Support - Photo #87

Yesterday Lady A made an appearance at Cumberland University just outside of Nashville. The university so graciously allowed the band and crew to take over the gym and theater as part of an upcoming shoot. As always, the band was extremely grateful to Cumberland for provided the space needed for their upcoming project. So much so, that they had a special meeting with the president of the university and presented him with a personalized guitar. Plus, Cumberland University's mascot is the Bulldog, just like Georgia, so they couldn't help but show their support!

Glam Squad - Photo #86

Today's photo comes from backstage in Lady A's dressing room. Particularly for Hillary, this is a makeup dream come true. And it's just one little part of the glam squad that makes Lady A look so great for all the shows and appearances they do. Contrary to popular belief, it's really not that long of a process for Miss Hillary and the boys to look so great. This may look like a lot is happening in the makeup department, but natural beauty and talent always comes through.

Furry Visitor - Photo #85

The always adorable puppy Hobbs has finally made is M&G debut on the Own The Night Tour! Hillary brought her little guy to the GAC Lady A Lounge this past weekend for all the fans to meet. Of course, with a face that cute everyone was absolutely ecstatic to see him. If you are going to an upcoming Lady A show, look out the fourth little member of the band at the next meet and greet!

Holiday Spirit - Photo #84

Christmas came early to Lady A, and the entire band, today. One very special fan sent individual Christmas presents to Hillary, Charles, Dave and all the members of the band. Each wonderful gift was boxed, wrapped and full of Christmas spirit. It is special keepsakes like these that allow Lady A to do what they do. The amount of love and support that they receive from their amazing fans is unmatchable. 'Tis the season for giving and Lady A can not thank their fans enough, or give them enough appreciation back. They want nothing more than for each and everyone of them to have a very wonderful holiday season filled with love and joy. And a big thank you goes out to the incredible fan who took the time to create these gifts with such effort and love!

At the past few shows on their Own The Night Tour this week, Lady A has received some of the most creative gifts from their fans. Today's photo is of the absolutely stunning water-color painting a fan gave them during a meet an greet in Texas. Special gifts like these are cherished by the band, just like every moment they get to spend with all their supporters. The creativity they have seen over the last few days is greatly appreciated and it all couldn't be more wonderful!

Life on the road for Lady A never had it dulls moments. And since this fall leg of the Own The Night Tour allows for some serious family time, there are lots hysterical shenanigans, especially on the bus. Take today's photo for instance. Load In - Photo #81

To get the best behind the scenes look of it takes to get the stage for the Own The Night Tour up and running, today's photo is actually three! It takes one awesome crew to put this show together, and there is always a lot going on the morning of a show. The busses and trucks roll in and its non-stop action until the fans come into the venue. But this team is professional. They get everything up and ready to go in record time!

Honoring Those Who Serve - Photo #80

Any time that Lady A can take a moment to give back to our country's military they will. And this afternoon on the way to their show in Colorado Springs, CO Lady A made a stop at Fort Carson for a very special meet & greet with military members and their families. Not only is it important to them to thank their fans, but it is also important for them to recognize the incredible work that of the men and women who put their lives on hold to serve. Lady A is proud to support their military!

Artists of the Year - Photo #79

For the second year in a row Lady A has been honored as one of CMT's Artists of the Year. The special dinner and celebration took place last night in Nashville and it was one star studded event. Along with Lady A, Taylor Swift, Brad Paisley, Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean were honored with the CMT title. It was the perfect way to be back in Nashville and spend a night off from touring. There was nothing but love for music, good food, and great friends throughout the entire evening. Don't miss the 90-minute special when it airs on December 13th at 9:00pm ET on CMT!

Rock 'N' Roll Catering - Photo #78

Lady A has the privilege of having the all of the food on their Own The Night Tour prepared by Dega Catering. This incredible Tennessee based company whips up some of the most delicious spreads three times a day for the band and the entire crew. Today's photo is of the amazing Asian inspired lunch Dega created for all of Lady A's team. No matter where they are on the road, Dega is there creating and cooking some of the most tasteful foods out there. Dega Catering does a wide variety of events so check them out, they are Lady A approved!

A Little Warm Up - Photo #77

This photo may seem a little different to most fans, as CK isn't the typical one in the band to play guitar, but this is just another day in the greenroom for CK. The band warms up in all different ways, and although CK may not play any instruments on stage, he still loves to practice on them when he gets a chance. It becomes a nice different and relaxing way for him to get ready for a show no matter where Lady A may be.

Today's photo may be too precious for words. This adorable moment was captured backstage in Savannah, GA just a few hours before show time. Chris and Hillary's latest addition to their family is Hobbs, the cutest fluff ball around. Not only is he a cuddly little pup, he's got a little spunk and personality. As you can see in this picture, he can't get enough of his Dad. Or maybe he was just a little hungry? Either way its a beautiful moment!

Brand New Medley - Photo #75

Lady A has a new addition to this section of the Own The Night Tour. Edens Edge has now joined the crew, along with Josh Kelley, as the opener for the show. Not only do they start the show off on a great foot, they now add a brand new, fresh sound to the nightly medley that everyone does during the show together. The harmonies and rhythms blend in a whole new way that really changes the whole sound and vibe, in a good way! This photo came from last night's show in Huntsville and clearly everyone is having a great time on stage. Plus, Hillary couldn't be more excited to have some more ladies out on the road and on the stage with her!

There's Always Time To Write - Photo #74

Whether its out on the road, home in Nashville, or backstage Lady A never turns down a moment when the songwriting strikes. Such was the case this past week while the band was on the set of Dancing With The Stars. CK and Dave had an idea and they ran with it. This is a very common instance for the boys and Hillary, as they wrote the majority of their Own The Night album on the road. No matter where they may be, the creative abilities and intuitions never cease. And sometimes, their surroundings provide the inspiration. Maybe this moment captured in today's photo will come through in a new song in the future.

Lady A wanted to take some time to thank all of their fans on this wonderful Fall holiday. They couldn't  be more thankful of all the support and love they receive everyday from such amazing people. If it wasn't for the fans, they wouldn't be able to do what they do. And Lady A does all that they do for their fans. It's clear from today' photo that just talking about their fans and today's holiday, that they can't help but be genuinely happy. So on this Thanksgiving, Lady A wanted to send a special message to all their fans, supporters, and followers so they know just how thankful Lady A is of all that they do. Watch the video!

In Awe - Photo #72

Lady A was the featured musical guest on the finale of Dancing with the Stars last night and had such a wonderful experience. Live TV is a very fun and exciting type of performance that Lady A truly enjoys. And performing on a show like DWTS is even more fun because in between sets the band gets to watch the amazing dances from backstage. From today's photo it's pretty clear that Charles, Hillary, and Dave were taken aback by some of the performances that were happening out on the dance floor. Last night's show was definitely another experience Lady A can cross off their bucket list!
